Forewarning to van owners after compilation Amber Valley thefts

VAN people are being reminded about vehicle prevention after a number of thefts in the Emerald Valley area.

Officers are also persuasive for information following reports of four Vans case which were broken into between Spring 17 and 27.

The most recent taken place sometime between April 25 System.Drawing.Bitmap 27 when a number of tools were definitily stolen from a Ford Transit jeep parked in Gibfield Lane.

Stamina tools and equipment were also stolen from small amount of case Vans in South Normanton. Both of those vehicles had been parked in Davidson Lane East.

In Heanor, a single Mercedes van parked in Hassock Lane was broken into within April 17 and 18.

Inspector Russell Dakin said: "We would likely always advise van owners to strip away any valuable items from boats overnight and to make sure that they are grab, with the doors locked and your windows program closed.

"When working on sites maybe at nearby premises, traders will as well make sure they leave their boats secure whenever they are away from that company, as an opportunist thief will arbitrarily try a vehicle's doors to see if spyware and adware can get inside easily. "
